Dreamcatchers

Dreamcatcher, guineafowl, natural material

Dreamcatcher handmade out of natural and up-cycled materials with guineafowl flight feathers. Feathers are 100% ethical, they are naturally shed by my pet birds. I carefully find symmetrical feathers for each item I make. If you visit or stay at our camping farm you can see all the birds whose feathers I use to make dreamcatchers and jewellery. The beads are made out of hollowed out elder (Sambucus nigra) branches. The rope used for the mesh and dangles is jute or hemp fiber. Loop is old binding wire bound in a strip of up-cycled cotton fabric. Each dreamcatcher is unique. You can pick the exact item you like.

Stickers & Fridge magnets

Dreaming cat magnet, black and white

Cat fridge magnet, hand painted, each one is literally one of a kind! There is quite a bit of work that goes in each magnet. They are really hand made from scratch. I cast them, attach the magnet and maybe touch up some details. Each one is painted with an individual color pattern. One third of the revenue from the sale of this product goes toward cats in need. When funds collect I donate to local cat shelters or individual rescuers and feeders of stray cats. Second third buys food and vet services for my herd of cats. My cats are all former strays. I try to adopt at least one cat per year, especially those that are not easily adoptable. And last third buys more material, so I can make more cool stuff to sell and help more cats. Each pair of earrings sold makes many cat's lives a little better.

Subtropical Drosera

Drosera aliciae Giant rosette x capensis Large form, Dr. Eberhard Koenig cl.2

Drosera aliciae Giant rosette x capensis Large form, Dr. Eberhard König, cl. 2 is a rare hybrid of two rare-ish clones of common plants. Both parents of this hybrid are very large plants, compared to the typical sizes of their respective species. This means Drosera aliciae x capensis grow into an unusually large plant as well. It is a curious plant, somehow familiar and yet somehow ''off''. And the best part? It's very easy to grow!
