Dreamcatcher handmade out of natural and up-cycled materials with turkey chest feathers. These feathers have a special shape, they are very broad and quite rigid. They also have a coppery sheen. Yes! That is a totally natural shape, they haven't been trimmed. Feathers are 100% ethical, they are naturally shed by my pet birds. I carefully find symmetrical feathers for each item I make. If you visit or stay at our camping farm you can see all the birds whose feathers I use to make dreamcatchers and jewellery.
The beads are made out of hollowed out elder (Sambucus nigra) branches.
The rope used for the mesh and dangles is jute or hemp fiber.
Loop is old binding wire bound in a strip of up-cycled cotton fabric.
