Sarracenia alata var. alata A1 MK has tall and narrow green pitchers, that have a bit of acoppery hue on the top of the lid. Most varieties of S. alata look best in September, however in early spring they produce large and delicate pale yellow to cream colored flowers on tall stems in the early Spring.
