Pinguicula kondoi

Named in honor of the legendary botanist Katsuhiko Kondo, Pinguicula kondoi is a captivating Mexican butterwort that boasts exceptional charm. It was first described in 1971, but based on a set of dried specimens examined several years later, some argued that it should be synonymous with P. reticulata Today, the debate remains.
