The common tomato with its super varied varieties is just one species: Lycopersicon esculentum. Humboldt's tomato is not a different variety, it's a different species. Ot occurs naturally in Brazil. It was described by Willendow in 1806 and named for the famous German botanist and explorer Alexander von Humboldt, who observed it being under cultivation at La Victoria, Nieuva Valencia and in the valleys of Arayus in South America.
Taste-wise: super nice flavour, large cherry type fruits, pinkish red.
