Claytons' Volcanic Red is a big red venus flytrap. Traps of young plants are prostrate. On adult plants, only the first spring traps are prostrate, but the more season progresses the longer are the petioles, making for a truly impressive impressive plant. The traps themselves are a bit bigger than on a typical clone. Clayton's volcanic red has one unique peculiarity: it's flower stalks bifurcate. This means that every flower stalk splits into two branches as it develops.
