Tomato seeds

Cosmic Eclipse, cherry, 15 seeds

If you're looking for a uniquely colored tomato you've just found it. A customer best described it as looking like a Hubble telescope's picture of a nebula. Its yellow and light green spotted and streaked on a background of black, brown, red, orange and green blotches. A useful attribute of this variety is the long shelf life of tomatos, they even just hang on the vine perfectly edible, long after other varieties would rot. So, if stored in a cool place you can enjoy fresh tomatos quite some time after the frost has ended the growing season. Otherwise it's a cherry type, indeterminate. Introduced by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms, California, USA.

Darlingtonia (Cobra Lily)

Darlingtonia californica HEATPROOF

Darlingtonia californica is also known as Cobra lily and the California pitcher plant. It is part of the family Sarraceniaceae, together with Sarracenia and Heliamphora. Cobra lily is native to Northern California and Oregon. In nature it grows on serpentine soils in bogs and seeps with flowing cold water. The leaves can survive high temperatures. Although the plant can regenerate from its root system after a fire, in general the roots must be kept below 10C at all times. When I was starting my journey into the world of Carnivorous plants, keeping a Cobra lily alive long term ment Macgyvering a system, that would maintain a flow of cold water over the roots. However, careful selection of stock collected from the heat-hardiest populations produced plants that are easier to grow. Much, much, much easier. HEATPROOF can in fact be grown just like a Sarracenia. I actually keep my mother plant in a tray together with some smaller Sarras. The plant still needs an airy substrate mix and an ...

Stickers & Fridge magnets

Dionaea Red Fridge magnet

Dionaea fridge magnet, hand painted There is quite a bit of work that goes in each magnet. They are really hand made from scratch. I cast them, attach the magnet and maybe touch up some details. Each one is painted with an individual color pattern. One third of the revenue from the sale of this product goes toward cats in need. When funds collect I donate to local cat shelters or individual rescuers and feeders of stray cats. Second third buys food and vet services for my herd of cats. My cats are all former strays. I try to adopt at least one cat per year, especially those that are not easily adoptable. And last third buys more material, so I can make more cool stuff to sell and help more cats. Each pair of earrings sold makes many cat's lives a little better.

CP seeds

Dionaea muscipula, open pollinated seeds

The Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula) is a carnivorous plant native to the temperate and subtropical wetlands of North Carolina and South Carolina. I currently (2026) grow around 150 cultivars, from a hardware store rescue to variegated and pompoms. The seeds offered here are open pollinated and are like a lucky dip: most will be nothing special, some will be interesting, a few will be wow and if you're extremely lucky you might grow the one that will make you rich.
